₱2M worth of shabu confiscated as police arrest Q.C. peddlers in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Three female illegal drug peddlers carrying more than ₱2,000,000 worth of suspected shabu were arrested in a sting operation in Talavera town on Tuesday (January 20).

Col. Heryl Bruno, Nueva Ecija police director, identified the suspects as alias Fe and alias Marie, both residents of Barangay Lumang Pangako, Payatas, Quezon City, and alias Julie, a resident of Barangay Riochico, General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.

Initial police investigation showed the three were entrapped around 10:50 p.m. in Barangay Calipahan, Talavera, and were arrested following the illegal drug transaction.

Confiscated from the trio were approximately 300 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱2,040,000, along with marked money.
