Former public official of San Miguel town faces sexual abuse raps

BALIWAG, Bulacan — Two alleged sexually abused victims have recently filed cases against a former municipal councilor of San Miguel town for sexually abusing them.

Lawyer Joey Cruz, legal counsel of the two, told Bulacan mediamen on Sunday that the alleged victims, an alias Mark and alias Joey, claimed that they were sexually abused by Melvin Santos, a former councilor of San Miguel, Bulacan.

Cruz said the two filed the cases against the former public servant on January 17 this year to put an end to such sexual molestations against possible future victims.

He added that a certain Roy has also filed on December 18 last year a rape and sexual cases against Santos.

Meanwhile, this writer tried to get the reaction of Santos on the sexual molestations filed against him by the complainants but got no response.
