Lockdown sa Barangay 28, Caloocan

Nagdesisyon ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Lungsod ng Caloocan na magpatupad ng granular lockdown sa ilang kalye sa Barangay 28, Caloocan City mula March 29 hanggang April 4, 2021.

Isasailalim sa lockdown ang mga sumusunod na lugar:
Barangay Tuna Base/711 Tuna Street corner Taksay Street, hanggang Taksay Street corner JP Rizal Avenue (Dagat-Dagatan Avenue) hanggang Torcillio Street corner JP. Rizal Avenue.

Ayon sa post ng opisyal na Facebook page ni Mayor Oca Malapitan, minabuti raw nilang ilagay sa lockdown ang mga nabanggit na lugar dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pagtaas ng mga kaso ng COVID-19.

“Mas mahigpit itong Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine na ipatutupad natin sa mga apektadong kalye kaysa sa ECQ na ipatutupad ng pamahalaang nasyonal. Malaki ang Barangay 28 at kailangan nating makontrol kaagad ang paglaganap ng sakit at batay sa monitoring ng ating City Health Department at ng Caloocan City COVID-19 Command Center ay nakasentro sa mga lugar na ito ang COVID-19 cases.”

Plano rin ng LGU na magsagawa ng disinfecting operation sa lugar, swab testing at pamamahagi ng ayuda sa mga apektadong residente.

“Alam po namin na maraming apektado subalit hinihingi po namin ang pang-unawa at kooperasyon ng lahat. Mas mahalaga po ang buhay at kaligtasan ng ating mga mamamayan higit sa lahat,” dagdag pa ni Mayor Malapitan.

Ayon sa Caloocan City Health Department, may apatnapu’t apat na aktibong kaso sa Barangay 28.
