New Bocaue Fire Station inaugurated
It's a momentous occasion for the residents of Bocaue as the town celebrated the blessing and inauguration of its brand-new fire station on May 15. Conveniently located near Mayor Joni Villanueva Avenue and the municipal hall, the newly constructed Bocaue Fire Station promises enhanced safety and emergency response for the community.
In his statement, Bocaue Mayor Jonjon Villanueva declared that his dedication to the project has paid off, with the Municipal Government of Bocaue generously donating the land for the fire station. Villanueva added that this collaborative effort, supported by Vice Mayor Atty. Sherwin Tugna, Team Solid councilors, CIBAC party-list, and Majority Leader Sen. Joel Villanueva, showcases the power of unity in achieving community goals. Funding for the project was provided by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), ensuring the station's modern facilities and equipment.
Mayor Villanueva underscored the importance of collective action and shared how the local government, together with Vice Mayor Tugna and Municipal Administrator Alex Yap, facilitated the land donation process. He emphasized that the new fire station stands as a testament to the town's resilience and commitment to safety.
He also announced the town's readiness to donate land for the construction of another fire station in Barangay Batia, highlighting the proactive approach to ensuring comprehensive emergency services coverage.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed officials including Mayor Villanueva, Vice Mayor Tugna, Municipal Administrator Alex Yap, and Municipal Jail Warden Michael de Jesus. Representatives from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Barangay Chairman Eduardo Agapito, and Barangay Kagawad were also present. Additionally, officials from the BFP, including FCSupt. Roy Aguto, Regional Director, BFP Central Luzon; FSSupt. Ernest Pagdanganan, BFP Provincial Director; and FInsp. Jose Gerald San Pablo, acting Municipal Fire Marshal, graced the event, further demonstrating the collaborative effort in ensuring community safety and security.
