Abi Marquez is indeed the Lumpia Wrapper Queen

Filipino food content creator Abi Marquez, famously known as the “Lumpia Wrapper Queen,” took on Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay’s challenge to wrap his famous Beef Wellington in a lumpia wrapper.

In her latest video, Abi documented the process of preparing the Beef Wellington Lumpia and brought the dish to the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill to let the chef himself taste it.

“I’m sorry, I don’t like it. I f***ing love it! That is a very, very posh spring roll. Delicious. May I have some more, please?” Gordon exclaimed after tasting her creation.

Abi later shared the video on her social media, where Gordon himself commented, “Still thinking about it! Well done Abi Gx.”

Fans were amazed and proud of Abi, celebrating her success and Gordon’s review of her innovative dish.

Meanwhile, Ramsay held a mini “MasterChef” challenge with Judy Ann Santos, Ninong Ry, and others at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Fans are excited to see what other surprises Ramsay has in store during his stay in the Philippines.
