Actor Jericho Rosales used Gen Z-style humor on Instagram to call out beach litterbugs while staying in Surigao, a popular beach destination for both local and foreign tourists.
Sa kanyang Instagram Stories, Jericho posted several photos of trash scattered along the beach—each one paired with witty but meaningful captions to remind people to take better care of the environment.
In one photo, he showed a roll-on deodorant with the line: “Mabango nga kilikili mo, ang baho naman ng trato mo sa kalikasan.” On another, he spotted an empty C2 bottle and joked: “C2 (Sino) nagtapon nito ha??”

May nakita rin siyang McDonald’s cup and captioned it with: (M)agbago na po tayo, playing off the iconic M logo. He even spotted a single FILA shoe and quipped: “Sa basurahan ito i-Fila,” cleverly turning the brand name into a punny reminder.
To top it all off, he came across a discarded condom, saying: “Proteksyon sa mga nagkakalat, kailangan din natin,” referring to careless litterers.
With humor and heart, Jericho sends a strong message: caring for nature doesn’t have to be boring—pwede namang nakakatawa, basta may impact.
