Anthony Jennings publicly apologized regarding the released screenshots of conversations with his co-actor, Maris Racal, which sparked allegations of cheating.

The screenshots were made public by Jennings’ non-showbiz ex-girlfriend, Jam Villanueva, on December 3, creating a buzz among social media users that lasted for days.

It can be recalled that Jennings confirmed his breakup with Jam during an interview after the media con for his upcoming series, “Incognito.”

“Yes, hiwalay na kami. Ngayon ko lang din sasabihin kasi months ago na kaming hiwalay ni Jam. Personal din kasi yung issues naming dalawa… Request ko lang din, sa lahat syempre, ‘wag nyo nang guluhin ‘yung tao kasi ayun nga, hindi naman siya artista. Pribado ‘yung buhay niya. Sa ‘kin naman ‘yon, ako ang may pagkukulang do’n,” he said during the November 29 interview.

He also requested the public not to involve Villanueva or Racal in any rumors.

“Sa lahat ng nangugulo rin sa dalawa (Jam at Maris), magkaibigan lang po kami (ni Maris),” he added.

However, days after that breakup confirmation interview, the leaked conversations were released. It took Anthony several days to address the issue—speaking out a day after Maris broke her silence.

“Sa lahat ho ng mga nangyari nung nakaraang araw, sa lahat ho ng mga taong nasaktan ko, especially po si Maris tsaka si Jam, humihingi ho ako ng tawad sa dalawang babae and sa lahat po ng mga nadamay ko rin po. ‘Yun lamang po, sorry po ulit,” Jennings stated in his released video statement.

Currently, Jam Villanueva hasn’t posted anything further regarding the matter.
