CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — An American national residing in Angeles City was arrested on Thursday (July 17) for alleged exhibitionist behavior.
A report submitted to Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., acting Central Luzon regional police director, identified the suspect as a certain Jack, a resident of Barangay Cuayan in Angeles City.
According to Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr., city police director of Angeles, a 36-year-old female jogger filed a complaint stating that the suspect began following her in a car around 6:00 a.m. while she was jogging in Barangay Cuayan.
She recounted that the suspect pulled up beside her, rolled down the car window, and said, “I like your straight hair,” before allegedly beginning to masturbate inside the vehicle.
The woman quickly fled, but the suspect reportedly continued to follow her and only stopped when another person passed by.
Police investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the surrounding area and coordinated with barangay officials, which led to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
The American national is now facing charges for violating Section 11(b), Article I of Republic Act 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act.
