Hontiveros, ibinulgar ang iba pang testimonya ng mga nakaligtas sa kulto sa Socorro

Ibinunyag ni Senador Risa Hontiveros nitong Huwebes ang dalawa pang testimonya ng mga dating miyembro ng Socorro Bayanihan Services Inc. (SBSI), isa umanong kulto na nakabase sa Sitio Kapihan, Socorro, Surigao del Norte, na inakusahan ng sekswal na pang-aabuso sa mga bata at sapilitang pagpapakasal sa mga menor de edad.

Sinabi ni Hontiveros na isang 28-anyos na dating miyembro na si alyas Karl, ang nagsabi sa kanyang tanggapan na siya ay dating bahagi ng Agila Squad, armadong grupo ng SBSI, na pinamumunuan ng napaulat na lider ng kulto na si Senior Agila o Jey Rence Quilario. Ibinahagi din niya na mayroong 107 sa kanila na bahagi ng hukbo ng kulto, kabilang ang mga menor de edad na 12 taong gulang pati na rin ang mga kababaihan.

“Nagpa-practice kami ng escrima, pano gumamit ng kutsilyo, at pwede kaming magdala at gumamit ng armas. Alam namin kung paano gamitin, paano mag-disarm, mag-disassemble at assemble ng mga pistol, mga armalite, M4, 45 — nagamit namin lahat yan,” ani Karl.

“At yung mga private army ni Senyor Aguila, mga private soldier nya kami, kasi ang sabi sa amin, we were Soldiers of God, na pag isinakripisyo namin ang buhay namin, mamatay man kami o hindi, basta pinagsisilbihan daw ang dyos, that is alright. Ang sabi nya sa amin, pwede kaming pumatay ng tao basta galing sa kanya ang utos ,” dagdag pa ni Karl.

Ang isa pang survivor na lumapit ay isang 13-anyos na babae na si alyas Maymay, ay tumakas sa kulto kasama ang kanyang mga magulang dahil gusto niyang pumasok sa paaralan.

“Noong nandoon kami sa Kapihan, gusto kong pumasok at mag-aral pero hindi nila kami pinayagan. Kaya naghanap ng paraan ang nanay ko para makatakas kami sa mga gwardiya at makapasok sa school,” pagbabahagi niya.

“May isang beses, hinabol kami ng Agnus, ang dating pinagkatiwalaan sa pagbabantay sa lugar. Tumakbo kami at dumaan sa talahiban. Buti na lang, nakita namin ang tatay ko. Kung hindi, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa amin dahil may mga panaksak yung mga humahabol s amin at marami sila,” dagdag pa ni Maymay.

Sinabi ng senador na ang mga kuwento nina Karl at Maymay ay ilan lamang sa mga testimonya na nagpapatunay sa mga mapang-abuso at mapagsamantalang gawain ng SBSI.

“Nakakatakot ang kultong ito. Handa silang gumamit ng dahas para mapasunod ang mga tao sa komunidad nila. Libo-libong mga taga-Socorro ang nasa poder pa rin ng kulto, kaya sana maibunyag na natin ang buong katotohanan at mapanagot ang mga naghahari-harian,” ani Hontiveros.
