Vice Ganda shared her excitement about starting a new chapter in her filmmaking career, beginning with her Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry, “And The Breadwinner Is…”

She explained that she and her management have celebrated her past films but are now moving forward with projects that align with her personal preferences and artistic growth. “I-honor na natin lahat ‘yon (past films), tapos now, we are starting a new age, a new era. Syempre, kailangan may bago tayong ipapakita, and thank you very much, sa panimula pa lang na binigay e na-appreciate nyo na. Niyakap nyo na agad ako, kaya maraming maraming salamat,” she shared on a Showtime episode.

“And The Breadwinner Is…” officially starts showing today, January 2, in Singapore, marking an exciting start to Vice Ganda’s new film genre era.
