ANTIPOLO CITY – Golfers will have the chance to win big at the upcoming “One Big FLIGHT” fundraising golf tournament on March 19, 2025, at Valley Golf & Country Club. Among the coveted hole-in-one prizes are a Hongqi car, two golf carts from GetGo and Ceb Car, and a one-year membership at Alpha Sports.

The event is hosted by the Ateneo High School Class of 2000 and co-presented by Davies Paint and Century Properties. Proceeds will go toward supporting Ateneo high school student-athletes competing in various sports.

“This marks the kickoff of a year-long series of fundraising activities,” said Chef Ed Bugia, a key member of the organizing batch. “The tournament is for the benefit of Ateneo high school student-athletes competing in various sports.”

Fellow batch representative Bam Mejia emphasized the collaborative spirit behind the event. “We’re excited as a batch to work together and give back to the Ateneo community,” he said.

Tournament Details and Prizes

The tournament will follow the System 36 format, with competition across four divisions: Classes A, B, and C, as well as the Ladies Division. Registration opens at 5 a.m., with tee-off at 7 a.m.

Entry fees are set at P4,000 for Valley Golf members and P5,000 for non-members, covering green fees, cart sharing, lunch, and raffle tickets. Non-players can join the event for P1,000, which includes lunch, giveaways, and raffle participation.

Bugia called on the Ateneo community to take part in the initiative. “We invite our community members to support us as we raise funds for Ateneo scholars and athletes,” he added.
