“Superman” star Rachel Brosnahan donates to Robredo’s Angat Buhay and local NGOs

Superman actress Rachel Brosnahan is extending her support to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the Philippines, including Angat Buhay, which was founded by former Vice President Leni Robredo.

In her Instagram Stories posted on Monday, June 23, Brosnahan referred to Angat Buhay, Pawssion Project, and Save the Children as “local superheroes.” She also encouraged her followers to join her in supporting these causes.

“We loved getting to bring Superman to all of you, and David Corenswet and I loved reading your messages about your local superheroes!” she wrote. “Join me in donating here.”

She added that she would be sharing more about each organization in the following slides, including links for anyone interested in donating.

The featured NGOs later thanked Brosnahan through their own Instagram Stories.

Brosnahan, along with the cast of Superman, visited the Philippines last June 19 as the first stop of the film’s global press tour. The movie is set to premiere in local cinemas on July 9.
