“Twinsies ✨ What an honor it is to be immortalized as the first Filipina actress and host at @madametussaudshongkong ❤️ Thank you for making another dream of mine come true. May this be an inspiration for all pursuers of dreams that if you DREAM BIG, and pursue those dreams with hard work and dedication, they can come true. What a way to celebrate 27 years in the industry!” Anne wrote.
Starting December 9, 2024, Curtis’ wax figure will be displayed at Madame Tussauds at The Peak in Hong Kong.
In a witty nod to her famous “Birthday ko? Uuwi OFWs sa birthday ko?” line, Anne mentioned her Filipino fans:
“Sa ating mga kababayan sa Hong Kong, hindi nyo na kailangan umuwi for my birthday! Looking forward to seeing all the creative and crazy poses you will come up with when you take a pic with my twin!” she added.
Other Filipinos who have their own Madame Tussauds wax figures include Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, and Broadway icon Lea Salonga.
