MANILA — Former Senator Bam Aquino has gained significant traction in the latest Pinasurvey tracking, posting the highest increase in percentage points among senatorial candidates.
The survey, conducted last December, shows Aquino securing a share of the 6th to 13th spots, with his numbers surging by five percentage points.
According to Rolland Ramirez, Managing Director of Insightspedia, Inc., which conducts the Pinasurvey, Aquino’s increase is the largest among those in his ranking range. Ramirez believes this surge indicates Aquino’s upward trajectory in the race.

“This suggests he has momentum and that his true standing is likely on the higher end of his range or approaching it,” Ramirez explained.
While the top four candidates for the Senate are seen as frontrunners, Ramirez emphasized that the battle for the remaining positions is still “wide open.”
Aquino’s rise in the Pinasurvey rankings aligns with his strong performance in other polls. He also secured a spot in the “Magic 12” in recent surveys conducted by Publicus Asia and Tangere.
If elected back to the Senate, Aquino has committed to prioritizing increased funding for education and job creation, two areas that were central to his previous legislative work.
His candidacy has drawn significant support from various artists, influencers, and public figures. Among those who have expressed their backing are Jolina Magdangal, Mark Escueta, Bayang Barrios, Niccolo Cosme, Mitch Valdes, Arman Ferrer, Ayrin Villamor, Moy Ortiz, AC Soriano, and comedian Alex Calleja.
Additionally, Pia Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Elmo Magalona, Nica del Rosario, Pinky Amador, Kerwin King, Tita Jegs, Jim Paredes, Elha Nympha, Jeli Mateo, Chef Jeng Flores, and several others have pledged their support for Aquino’s senatorial bid.
