Bicol’s most wanted person arrested in Angeles City

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga– Bicol region’s most wanted person (MWP) was arrested in a manhunt operation in Angeles City on September 20.

Reports reaching Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon regional police director, identified the MWP of Bicol as Basilio de Borja.

De Borja was arrested by joint police operatives of Central Luzon, Bicol and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in a manhunt operation in Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City.

The operation was conducted through a warrant issued by Hon. Rofebar Fajardo Gerona, presiding judge of RTC Branch 53, Sorsogon City for rape under criminal case no. 2022-12318P with no recommended bail.
