Converge apologizes for connectivity issues and assures customers that online connectivity has been restored

In a statement issued on Facebook, Converge informed its customers on Sunday that, “We have already addressed the issue, and our services are gradually being restored. We expect full recovery of your internet connectivity by noon today.”
The internet service provider admitted that customers experienced connectivity issues at around 10:30 AM on Saturday. The affected areas include Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Iloilo, and Cebu.
“98.6% of our customers affected by the service interruption at around 10:30 a.m. today, October 7.” According to the advisory.
However, not all are pleased by the apology, as netizens complained over Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) about connectivity issues.
“Converge FiberX ay Oct7 ba? Kala ko noong Sept 9 pa? Hanggang ngayon kasi wala pa ung scripted na sinasabi nyo na na forward nyo na ung issue hahahahaha mag 1 buwan na oy! Nahiya pa kayo sabihin na mag uphrade ilang taon na kaming naka subs sa inyo” According to Jhunmar Tan in his Facebook post.
“Grabing bagal Ng customer service nila” said Arby Ranollo, citing slow customer service response on connectivity issues.
