MAKATI CITY — To foster a more inclusive economy, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has allocated ₱2 billion from the Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) fund specifically for the Women’s Enterprise Fund (WEF) in 2026.

This initiative continues to support women-led businesses that are ready to grow, hire, and expand their economic impact and profitability.

The fund aims to provide Filipino women with the capital to start and expand their businesses, recognizing their contribution to economic growth and helping them augment their family income, thereby increasing financial security.

“We continue to support women entrepreneurs seeking local and global expansion, while also opening opportunities for those ready to expand, create jobs, and strengthen local economies. We understand that capital is a challenge to many, and the DTI through SBCorp have tailored programs to meet the needs of our MSMEs like this Women’s Enterprise Fund,” Trade and Industry Sec. Cristina Roque said.

The Women’s Enterprise Fund provides vital capital to women-owned and women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (WMSMEs). Borrowers can access the following tailored features:

• Loan Amount: From ₱30,000 to ₱20 million
• Grace Period: No payment of capital and interest for the first year for eligible products
• Repayment Terms: Flexible terms of up to five years
• Collateral: Requirements waived for loans up to ₱5 million

SBCorp has streamlined the application process to ensure accessibility for all. Loans can now be accessed digitally through the SBCorp Money App (available on Google Play and Huawei AppGallery) or via the web app at app.sbcorp.ph.

To ensure no entrepreneur is left behind, interested parties are encouraged to visit any of the 1,431 Negosyo Centers nationwide. These centers provide guidance on business opportunities and encourage individuals to avail of DTI programs to grow their ventures.
