MANILA — Recent polling by Tangere reveals a decline in voter preference for Former President Rodrigo Duterte, Mayor Baste Duterte, and Congressman Paolo Duterte as they seek Senate seats in the 2025 elections.
Former President Duterte’s preference fell from 50.88% to 46.33%, while Congressman Paolo Duterte’s dropped from 25.00% to 22.92%. The former president’s support is notably waning in Southern Luzon and Bicol, despite strong backing in Mindanao.

Impact on Duterte Allies
Senator Bong Go saw a 4.58% decrease in preference, particularly among younger voters and those from Southern Luzon, MIMAROPA, and Bicol. He remains in the Top 5 due to support from Mindanao and voters aged 36-50.
Senator Bato Dela Rosa’s preference dropped by 3.84%, especially among 18-25-year-olds, leaving him tied for 12th place but still supported by those aged 36-50.
Candidates Tied for 12th Place
Senator Bong Revilla performs well among ages 26-35 but struggles with those 51+. Senator Francis Tolentino shows strength in Southern Luzon but is declining in NCR. Social media personality Dr. Willie Ong is rising in Southern Luzon and NCR but falling in Central Luzon. Former Senator Bam Aquino gains traction with increased NCR support but lags in Mindanao.

Emerging Contenders
Las Piñas Congresswoman Camille Villar advances to 27th place, showing potential with younger voters. Makati Mayor Abby Binay rises to 14th place, strong with older voters and in Metro Manila, with growing support in Visayas and Mindanao. DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos could break into the Top 20 with more focus on lower-income and younger voters. Leyte Representative Richard Gomez, now at 16th place, benefits from middle and lower-income support and improved performance in CALABARZON.
