“Minulto na ba ang lahat?” Cup of Joe Hits #1 on Spotify PH

OPM pop-rock band Cup of Joe now holds the #1 spot on both the Spotify PH artists and songs charts. They join the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, as the only OPM acts to achieve this feat simultaneously.

The band consists of lead vocalists Gian Bernardino and Rafa Ridao, guitarists Gab Fernandez and CJ Fernandez, and keyboardist Xen Gareza. They reached this milestone with their hit track Multo from their debut album Silakbo, released in January 2025.

The album explores the five stages of grief—denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Adding to their achievements, the Baguio-based band has also surpassed 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time in their career.

BINI leader Jhoanna Robles joined the celebration, quoting a tweet about Cup of Joe’s success with, “bestied so hard ang atake HAHAHAHA.”

BINI members also showed their support by attending the first night of Cup of Joe’s Silakbo concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last February 8 and 9.
