Yeontan, the beloved dog of BTS member Kim Taehyung, also known as V, has passed away. V shared the heartbreaking news with fans through a heartfelt post on his Instagram stories and X, along with a series of cherished photos.

“The reason I decided to write this message today is that recently, Yeontan has embarked on a long journey to the dog star,” V wrote in his post.

V adopted Yeontan in 2017 despite knowing the dog had serious health issues. Over the years, he dedicated himself to learning about dog care and consulted with trainers to ensure Yeontan received the best treatment. Yeontan also underwent two high-risk surgeries, but unfortunately, his heart condition remained critical.

“I thought a lot about how I should share this news, but considering all the love Yeontan has received so far, I felt it was only right to share this update with ARMY,” V added.

For BTS and ARMYs, Yeontan was more than just a pet—he was a beloved member of the BTS family and like a son to V. Fans cherished watching him grow alongside V and the group, and he will forever hold a special place in the hearts of V, BTS, and ARMYs around the world.
