MANILA — Actress and television host Anne Curtis has once again expressed her support for former Senator and independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino, this time in person. The unexpected encounter took place at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2, where Curtis and Aquino happened to cross paths.

The meeting allowed Curtis to personally convey her endorsement of Aquino’s candidacy and advocacies, particularly his Free College Law. To further solidify her support, Curtis posed for a photo with Aquino while flashing the No. 5 sign, symbolizing her backing of his campaign. She later shared the photo on Instagram as part of her “So MARCH fun” carousel album, captioning it with, “bumped into someone I’m voting for!”

This latest display of support marks the third time Curtis has publicly endorsed Aquino. Earlier, she had responded with an enthusiastic “Yes!!” to stand-up comedian Alex Calleja’s tweet, which urged voters to include Aquino in their list of senatorial candidates for the May elections. Additionally, Curtis retweeted Aquino’s post on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting his mission to improve the lives of Filipino families.

Aquino took to Facebook to express his gratitude for Curtis’ support, saying, “Masaya akong nakasalubong at nakakwentuhan ka nang saglit sa airport habang papunta sa kanya-kanyang mga flight natin! Your support means a lot to us at sa ipinaglalaban natin sa ating kampanya.”

He further added, “Ipapanalo natin ang laban na ito para sa madlang pipol at sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino! Libreng Kolehiyo, Siguradong Trabaho! God bless you, Anne!”

Curtis joins a growing list of celebrities who have voiced their support for Aquino’s senatorial bid. Other notable personalities backing his candidacy include veteran actor Edu Manzano, Dingdong Dantes, rapper/actor/director/vlogger Pio Balbuena, Bea Binene, Janine Gutierrez, and veteran talent manager and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz.

With the elections fast approaching, Aquino continues to rally support from various sectors, emphasizing his advocacy for accessible education and better employment opportunities for Filipinos.
