400K bagong miyembro ng SSS inaasahan sa pagtatapos ng  National Registration Day

BOCAUE, Bulacan — Inaasahan na aabot sa 400,000 bagong miyembro ng Social Security System (SSS) ang magiging kasapi sa nasabing ahensya kapag natapos ang isang buwang National Registration Day na sinimulan nitong araw ng Lunes (July 15).

Ayon kay SSS Vice President for Luzon Central 2 Division, Gloria Corazon Andrada, inaasahan na mayroong 400,000 ang mahihikayat nila na magparehistro sa kanilang ahensya sa mga Lugar ng Angeles City, Dau at sa buong lalawigan ng Pampanga; Lungsod ng Baliwag, Bocaue, Lungsod ng  Malolos, Lungsod ng Meycauayan, Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte at sa bayan ng Santa Maria sa Bulacan at sa Lungsod ng Olongapo.

Inihatid ng SSS sa kanilang National Registration Day sa City Mall sa Barangay Bunlo sa bayan ng Bocaue nitong July 15 ang mga serbisyong online tulad ng My SSS Registration, My SSS Account Resetting, PRN Generation, Salary Loan Application, Benefits Claim Application, Short-Term Loan Condonation, at Pension Loan Application. 

Bukod dito, nag-alok din ng iba’t ibang serbisyong in-person tulad ng issuance of SS Number, inquiries & verification, ACOP (Annual Confirmation of Pensioner), issuance of forms, at member data change request.

Bukod kay Andrada, dumalo rin sa nasabing okasyon ang Local Youth Development Officer ng Bocaue na si Juan Paolo Bautista na kumatawan kay Bocaue Mayor Eduardo “Jonjon” Villanueva Jr., Rosario dela Cruz na kumatawan kay Bocaue ABC President Konsehal Robin del Rosario at ang City Mall Bocaue Branch Manager na si Risa Joy De Guzman.

Ipinaliwanag ni Andrada na layunin ng SSS na magkaroon ng universal coverage na ang lahat ng Pilipino ay magiging miyembro ng SSS.  

Ibinalita rin niya na nilagdaan kamakailan ng SSS at DSWD ang Memorandum of Agreement para sa special coverage ng 4Ps beneficiaries sa SSS na may partikular na insurance program na nakalaan para sa mga benipisyaryo.

Ipinaalala ni Andrada na mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng SSS number para sa social security protection. Aniya, ang layunin ng DSWD sa 4Ps ay maiangat ang bawat Pilipino sa kahirapan, at ang SSS ay magbibigay ng seguridad sa kinabukasan ng bawat miyembro upang makatulong sa pag-ahon mula sa kahirapan.

Ibinahagi naman ni Bautista na ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bocaue sa pamumuno ni Mayor Jonjon Villanueva ay nagkaron ng kasunduan sa SSS para ang mga nagtatrabahong job order  (JOs) ng LGU ay maging miyembro ng SSS  para magkaroon sila ng benepisyo mula sa nasabing ahensya.

Dahil dito magiging protektado at magkakaroon din ng pensyon ang mga job order pagdating ng panahon.

Ibinahagi rin ni Bautista na nais din ni Mayor Villanueva na mabigyan ng proteksyon, benepisyo at pensyon mula sa SSS ang mga miyembro ng TODA at 4ps.
