CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Central Luzon successfully dismantled a makeshift drug den and foiled a kush smuggling attempt at the Port of Clark on July 3, 2025.
The operation in Barangay San Antonio in Lubao town led to the arrest of three suspects, identified by their aliases: Dante, Ton-ton, and Jepox. Authorities confiscated approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱102,000, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and marked money.
In a separate interdiction operation at the Port of Clark, authorities intercepted a shipment containing approximately 472 grams of high-grade marijuana, commonly known as kush, valued at ₱708,000. The parcel, which originated from Michigan, USA, was declared as “Sasstie Reading Pillows for Sitting in Bed Adult.” It arrived at the Port of Clark on June 30 and was flagged during a routine customs examination and X-ray scan. The drugs were not concealed, leading to their discovery by Bureau of Customs examiners.

The successful interdiction was a collaborative effort involving the PDEA Clark International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, Bureau of Customs Port of Clark, National Bureau of Investigation Pampanga District Office, and the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Unit.
All confiscated substances have been submitted to the PDEA Region III laboratory for forensic testing and confirmation.
