1,069 Bulacan farmers, fisherfolk affected by El Niño receive aid

CITY OF MALOLOS – A total of 1,069 farmers and fisherfolk from the towns of San Miguel, Obando, and San Rafael, affected by El Niño, have received aid from the Provincial Government of Bulacan.
The aid recipients received financial assistance worth P5,000, food packs, and fertilizer as part of the Distribution of Rehab Assistance to Farmers Affected by El Niño, conducted at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in the city on Tuesday.
In response to these developments, the Provincial Government of Bulacan is now preparing for any possible effects of La Niña this rainy season.
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Bulacan advises Bulakeños to prepare their own emergency kits containing food, water, medicine, and other essentials in anticipation of possible effects of La Niña.
