18 localities in Bulacan shine in the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance by DILG

BULACAN — The Province of Bulacan proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement as 18 of its Local Government Units (LGUs) passed the rigorous 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment, a program that recognizes excellence in local administration.
The award highlights these LGUs’ commitment to efficient governance, transparency, and dedication to public service.
The 18 LGUs that earned this prestigious seal include the Provincial Government of Bulacan and the cities of Baliwag, Malolos, Meycauayan, and San Jose del Monte.
Among the municipalities honored are Angat, Balagtas, Bulakan, Bustos, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Guiguinto, Marilao, Pandi, Paombong, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, and Santa Maria.
In addition, the Provincial Government of Bulacan and the Municipality of Plaridel were particularly recognized for their extraordinary consistency, having achieved this accolade for eight consecutive years. This milestone underscores their dedication and committment to good governance, with the recognition serving as an example for Central Luzon and other regions.
The SGLG, awarded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), is an institutionalized award, incentive, honor, and recognition-based program continues to uphold its commitment in bringing about people-oriented reforms that will enable local government units to foster a culture of good governance, encourage transparency, and enhance accessibility of social services across the Philippines.
