CITY OF MALOLOS — A total of 185 barangays from the three cities and 12 municipalities in Bulacan are still affected by one to five feet of floodwater, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) reported on Friday morning.
Additionally, 29,938 individuals, or 10,024 families, are housed in temporary shelters in various evacuation areas in flood-affected regions of the province.
Meanwhile, all major roads in Bulacan are passable, but motorists are still advised to take precautionary measures when traversing minor and inner roads due to flooding in portions of the province.

The PDRRMO also reported that the heavy rains from the Habagat, enhanced by typhoon Carina, have caused damages worth P789 million in infrastructure; P81,200,649.69 in agriculture and fisheries; and P955,100 in livestock and poultry.
As these developed, Gov. Daniel Fernando has started personally delivering relief goods to affected Bulakeños.
A total of 718 individuals, or 199 families, from Barangays Malis, Ilang-Ilang, Tuktukan, Sta. Rita, Tiaong, and Sta. Cruz in Guiguinto initially received relief goods from the governor, assisted by Vice Gov. Alexis Castro.

Fernando also delivered relief goods in Barangays Pandayan and Calvario in the City of Meycauayan and Barangay Pio Cruzcosa in Calumpit.
“Ang mahalaga po ngayon ay mabigyan natin ng pagkain ‘yung mga nasa evacuation center at ibang mga nasa bahay pa na may tubig. Humingi na po tayo ng assistance sa DSWD para sa food packs, at gayundin, ang Provincial Government ay magbibigay tayo sa iba’t ibang bayan, siyudad, at lalawigan,” the governor said.
