BALIWAG CITY, Bulacan –Two orphanage houses in Bulacan get “ChriSMiles,” treats.

ChriSMiles is an employee-volunteer program of SM malls initiated by the malls’ HR department that embodies the essence of the Yuletide season by encouraging staff members to share their blessings with children in need.

The employee-volunteer program of SM City Marilao hosted and treated orphaned children at the Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita in Guiguinto town while SM City Baliwag and SM Center Pulilan cheered up orphaned children from the Bethlehem House of Bread in Baliwag City.

Volunteers of the program shared their time offs from work by spreading love and joy by distributing toys, food, cleaning materials, and ‘SM Bears of Joy’ to the less fortunate children as well as fun games and surprises.

The initiative started in 2012 that encourages all SM employees to be more appreciative of their individual blessings by sharing and caring.
