2 Bulacan village watchmen wounded in gun attack by riding-in-tandem suspects

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Two village watchmen in San Miguel town were wounded in a gun attack by a riding-in-tandem gunmen on Wednesday evening.
Initial investigation showed that the two victims were performing their duties as barangay tanods on board a kolong-kolong and was along the road in Sitio Balucok, Barangay Sta. Ines, San Miguel town when the unidentified suspects successively fired their guns at the two village watchmen and fled immediately after the shooting incident.
Ramos sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body while Aquino sustained a lone gunshot wound in his right lower limb and were both rushed to the Emmanuel Vera Hospital in San Miguel for emergency medical treatment and the former to be transferred to another hospital in Nueva Ecija.
Police investigators has conducted backtracking of CCTV footages to identify the identities of the suspects.
