2 lifeless female teenager students found floating in Bulacan river

CITY OF MALOLOS — The lifeless bodies of two teenage students were found floating along the river system of Calumpit town on Saturday afternoon.

Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the victims as Janshane de Jesus, 13 years old and Krisalyn Kasandra Alpes, 14 years old and both are residents of North Ville-9, Phase II, Barangay Iba O Este, Calumpit, Bulacan.

Initial investigation showed that the body of de Jesus was discovered floating along the river system of Calumpit in Barangay Iba O Este around 3:20 pm while that of Alpes was found floating around 3:45 pm in the river system in Barangay Caniogan in the said town.

A witness told police investigators that the two were last seen walking at around 6:30pm on Friday at the side of the road in the vicinity of Barangay  Palimbang in Calumpit town. 

The Calumpit Police Station immediately coordinated with the Bulacan Forensic Unit to process place while the remains of the victims were  brought to John Jacob Funeral Services in Barangay Iba O Este, Calumpit town.
