3 die in Bulacan fire

BULAKAN, Bulacan — Three people died in a fire at a residential house and an e-bike store in this town early Monday morning, September 16.

According to Lt. Col. Darwin Barbosa, Bulakan police chief, in a report to Col. Satur Ediong, acting Bulacan police director, the victims were identified as live-in partners Rogelio Solis Jr., 46, Kristine de Dios, 52, and Maria Miyakiel Koreen de Dios. They were all residents of Camino Street, Barangay San Jose, Bulakan, Bulacan.

Initial investigations revealed that the fire, which broke out around 3:00 a.m., engulfed both the victims’ house and the ScooterCity E-Bicycle Trading Store, owned by a certain Darius Rodrigo.

Investigators are considering the possibility that the fire started from an electric bike that was left unattended while being charged.
