3 individuals arrested in separate search warrant implementations, guns and bullets seized

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS,, Bulacan — Bulacan police operatives successfully implemented three separate search warrants in the province that led to the arrest of three suspects and seizures of guns and bullets on Friday and early Saturday.
Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said that operatives of the City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM) Police Station together with 24th SAC, 2SAB and PNP-SAF, implemented two search warrants that resulted in the arrest of two individuals.
The first arrest involved a 40-year-old male driver and a resident of Barangay Citrus, CSJDM and seized from him were one Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver without serial number and three live bullets.
The second arrest was a 20-year-old jobless man, a resident of Barangay Muzon South, CSJDM. Seized from him was an improvised handgun without markings and serial number and two live 12-gauge shotgun bullets.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Marilao Police Station served a warrant of arrest that led to the apprehension of a 43-year-old auto mechanic and resident of Barangay Prenza II, Marilao town that led to the seizures of a .45 caliber pistol with serial no. BC00577-09-246 without trademark, a magazine loaded with eight live bullets; 12 .45 caliber .45 live bullets and a Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver with Serial no. 011122 with eight live bullets.
All confiscated pieces of evidence were properly documented and submitted to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for ballistic examination and the arrested suspects are now facing appropriate criminal charges.
