CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Eight inmates from the custodial facility of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station has escaped around 3:00 am yesterday (Sunday).

Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the Persons Under PNP Custody (PUPC) as:

1. Jorency Revise y De Juan, 29 years old, male, with a live-in partner, a helper, and a resident of Blk. 17, Lot 10, Purok 8, Brgy. San Pedro, CSJDM, Bulacan, with a case of Robbery.
2. Richard Torillos y Mabansag, @Tattoo, 46 years old, male, single, jobless, born on June 30, 1977, a native of Manila, and presently residing at Blk. 13, Lot 22, Phase-1, Brgy. Grace Ville, CSJDM, Bulacan, with cases of violations of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
3. Arturo Çonde y Murillo @ Don-Don, 40 years old, male, with live-in partner, born on January 24, 1984, a native of Samar, and presently residing at Blk. 5, Lot 4, Phase 6B, Brgy. Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM, Bulacan, with a case of violation of R.A. 9165.
4. Aaron Capa y Mendones, 26 years old, male, single, born on January 25, 1997, presently resides at Mendoza St., Sta Maria, Bulacan, with a case of violation of R.A. 9165.
5. Jose Albert Rojas y Gonzales, 24 years old, male, single, jobless, born on February 13, 2000, is a native of Manila and presently resides at Blk. 30, Lot 32, Phase 6A, Tower Ville 6, Brgy. Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM, Bulacan, with a case of violation of R.A. 9165.
6. Jeffrey Santos y Delo Santos, 38 years old, single, male, jobless, born on July 3, 1986, a native of Manila and presently resides at Blk.16, Lot 23, Phase-6C, Tower Ville, Brgy. Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM, Bulacan, with a case of violation of R.A. 9165.
7. Glenmir Ian Aguilar y Valdez, 42 years old, male, married, internet installer, born on August 19, 1981, a native of Manila and presently resides at Blk. 3, Lot 2, Phase E1, Brgy. Mulawin, CSJDM, Bulacan, with a case of violation of R.A. 9165.
8. Edcel Briones y Emberga, 29 years old, male, single, born on October 6, 1994, and residing at Blk. 18, Lot 23, Area H, Phase 1, Brgy. San Rafael 1, CSJDM Bulacan, with the case of Arson.

The escape was discovered by the Duty Custodial Officer, SJDM CPS, during a routine accounting of detainees at around 3:00 in the morning of June 2, 2024. Initial investigations revealed that the escapees managed to break the metal window rail of cell number 4 using steel saw. Immediate efforts to locate the escapees were unsuccessful, prompting the Custodial Officer to inform the Acting Chief of Police of SJDM CPS and initiate follow-up operations.

Subsequent operations led to the immediate arrest of  Revise and Brione. 

Efforts to apprehend the remaining escapees are ongoing, with a coordinated dragnet operation and flash alarm issued to the Bulacan Provincial Tactical Operations Center.

The PNP assures the public that all necessary measures are being taken to recapture the remaining escapees and maintain public safety. 

The PNP requests that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the escapees contact the nearest police station.
