CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Number 1 Most Wanted Person of Benguet was arrested in Bulacan on Friday (December 8).

Reports reaching Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon regional police director, identified the most wanted of Benguet as Julian Gravador who was arrested in Santa Maria town.

The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3, led the implementation of the warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 3, Baguio City on June 2, 1989.

Gravador is accused for the crime of homicide under Criminal Case No. 6624-B with P147,400.00 recommended bail.

Hidalgo said, “The arrest of the most wanted person of Benguet here in our region clearly shows the effectiveness of our [Interactive Engagement Policing] IEP program that underlines the crucial role of the community in our anti-criminality campaign. This is one of the best practices of PRO3 that we will surely sustain and we hope to share this program model with other PROs which I believe will also help them ensure peace and order in their respective regions.”
