Bulacan Police nabs 16 law offenders

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police has apprehended 16 law offenders on separate operations on January 26 and 27.
Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director said that operatives of Bocaue, San Rafael, and Marilao Police Stations conducted separate anti-illegal drug operations that resulted in the arrest of six drug suspects.
Police recovered a total of 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 5.6 grams with a street value of P38,080 and marked money.
The confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination while the arrested suspects are facing criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165.
Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of the Meycauayan, Calumpit Police Stations and joint operatives of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Guiguinto Police Station and Regional Mobile Force Company resulted in the arrest of three wanted persons by virtue of warrants of arrest.
On the other hand, the Bulacan PNP’s campaign against anti-illegal gambling operations in San Jose Del Monte City Police Station and Baliwag City Police Station led to the arrest of seven illegal gamblers who were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game (Cara y Cruz) and an illegal card game (Tong Its).
Confiscated evidence from the suspects were three pieces one-peso coins used as “pangara”, a marble block used as “karahan,” a set of deck cards, and bet money.
