Bulacan Police nabs 7 drug suspects, 5 wanted persons, 6 illegal gamblers

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan– Bulacan police operatives have arrested seven drug suspects, five wanted persons and six illegal gamblers on Friday and early Saturday morning.

Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the station drug enforcement units of the San Rafael, Balagtas, Marilao, and San Miguel Police Stations have arrested seven drug suspects in separate anti-drug operations.

Confiscated from the suspects were a total of 30 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a total street value of P71,400 and the marked money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examinations.

On the other hand, the tracker teams of the San Ildefonso, Bulakan, Santa Maria, Marilao, and San Jose del Monte Police Stations have arrested Jayvee Santo for the crime of statutory rape; Dexter Raguro for violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002); Keeno Ramos for violation of R.A. 9165; Sean Andre Guevarra for Violation of R.A. 9262; and Richelle Anne Lino for Violation of threecounts of B.P. 22.

On the other hand, separate anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by Balagtas and Hagonoy Police Stations led to the arrests of six illegal gamblers caught in the act of playing an illegal card game of “pusoy” and “cara y cruz” that led to the confiscations of a set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.
