CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police operatives arrested on All Saint’s Day (November 1) an armed riding in tandem with two guns and a snatcher with a bladed weapon.

Reports reaching Col. Rely Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the riding in tandem tried to evade a police Oplan Sita in Balagtas town but collided with a tricycle.

Responding policemen discovered the injured duo in possession of a .45 caliber pistol with seven live bullets and a .38 revolver loaded with five live bullets and two shotgun ammunition.

Police rushed the riding in tandem suspects to the Gregorio del Pilar District Hospital in Bulakan town for medical treatments while their firearms were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examinations.

Meanwhile, a snatcher on board a motorcycle was arrested by responding police operatives when his victim reported the snatching incident to the San Ildefonso Police Station that coordinated with the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company that led to the arrest of the 38-year-old snatcher in Barangay Buhol na Mangga, San Ildefonso town.

The lawmen recovered from the suspected snatcher the stolen items, a motorcycle, and a bladed weapon.
