“Drug Queen,” cohort yield P2.7M worth of shabu in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — More than P2.7 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from alias “Drug Queen” and her cohort during a drug sting early yesterday (March 25) in the City of Meycauayan.
Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said alias Drug Queen also known as alias Laine and her cohort alias Cherry both residents of Barangay Calvario in the said city were entrapped around 1:45 am yesterday in Sitio Sampalukan in their barangay.
City Drug Enforcement Unit operatives of Meycauayan were able to recover from the two approximately 402 grams with a street value of P2,733,600 and the marked money.
The confiscated shabu has been subjected to drug tests and laboratory examinations while the two drug suspects are now facing charges for violations of Section 5 and 11 Article II of RA 9165 as amended by RA 10640.
