DTI presents “PUSTURA: Central Luzon’s Fashion Show” in Pampanga

CITY OF MALOLOS — The Department of Trade and Industry – Central Luzon’s (DTI Region III) presented on Thursday “PUSTURA: Central Luzon’s Fashion Show” at the Event Center of SM Pampanga in the City of San Fernando.
Emmanuel Caleon, information officer of DTI-Bulacan, said the fashion show is a major creatives event this year in Central Luzon that supports the Philippine Creative Industry Act (PCIDA) or Republic Act 11904.
PCIDA aims to promote and support the Philippine creative industries by providing them opportunities and developments to elevate the Filipino creativity.
He explained that the event was under the brand “Fiesta Haraya” that showcased the finest talents and creative skills of Central Luzon that featured diverse fashion products from wide-array of selections.
Fiesta Haraya, is one of DTI’s initiatives to support PCIDA.
The event featured the region’s stunning collections of locally crafted products, such as: gowns; Filipiniana; barong; bags; jewelries; and other fashion accessories that highlighted the creativity and innovation of Central Luzon’s designers rooted on profound enthusiasm on fashion and design; combining traditional Filipino aesthetics and modern trends.
It also served as venue to promote the region’s rich heritage and craftmanship.
