CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN, Bulacan — A motorbike rider died after hitting the reserve tire of a passenger jeep and eventually thrown and dragged by a passing trailer truck on Tuesday (February 13) morning in this city.

A police report identified the victim as Ronilo Mabiling, who was on board a Yamaha NMax motorcycle that is still for registration while the passenger jeep with license plate CWF 341 was driven by Roberto Dulalia and the trailer truck, an Isuzu Rebuilt Truck with license plate CAO1115 was driven by Jhonlord Vincent Sebial.

Initial investigation showed that the victim tried to overtake the public utility jeep that was unloading a passenger along Iba Road, Barangay Iba in the said city around 8:35 am.

As this developed, the motorcycle hit the reserve tire of the passenger jeep and the victim was thrown off and dragged by the rear tire of a passing trailer truck.

Meycauayan 911 Rescue responded to the scene of the accident and declared the victim dead and the victim’s remains brought to Ever Funeral Homes in Barangay Pantoc in the city.
