More police personnel deployed in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Additional police personnel have been ordered to deploy in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija in preparation for the 2025 midterm national and local elections.
Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, regional police director for Central Luzon, confirmed in a radio interview on DzBB that these provinces have a history of election-related violence.
A total of 350 additional police personnel have been assigned to these provinces, including 150 in Bulacan, 100 in Nueva Ecija, and 100 in Pampanga.
This additional deployment is expected to provide essential logistical support, ensuring mobility and the effective conduct of 24/7 checkpoint operations in the region.
Maranan stated that the move aims to enhance law enforcement capabilities, maintain peace and order, and ensure a safe environment for residents and candidates during the upcoming electoral process.
