CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — More than eight kilograms of dried marijuana leaves worth almost P1,000,000 were confiscated in drug stings in the City of Malolos and Balagtas town early morning of November 24.

Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said that at about 12:25 a.m., Malolos police operatives conducted a drug sting operation in Barangay Pinagbakahan in Malolos that led to the arrest of a certain alias Glenn.

The operation led to the confiscations of approximately six kilograms of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth P720,000, a white Honda ADV with license plate 697ROGand the marked money.

On the other hand, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Balagtas Municipal Police Station conducted a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Santol in Balagtas town at about 1:45 am that resulted in the arrest of alias Reyvin.

The entrapment operations led to the seizures of approximately 2.03 kilograms of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth P243,600 and the marked money.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examinations while the suspects are now facing criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165.
