NIA nagbigay ng presentasyon sa 3 solar pump irrigation projects sa Bulacan

LUNGSOD NG MALOLOS — Ang National Irrigation Administration (NIA) sa pamumuno ni acting administrator Eduardo Eddie Guillen ay nagbigay ng kanilang presentation sa mga mambabatas sa pangunguna ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez tungkol sa tatlo nitong solar pump irrigation projects sa Bulacan nitong nakaraang araw ng Biyernes, Setyembre 22.

Ang presentasyon ay isinagawa sa tanggapan ng NIA Region 3 Office sa bayan ng San Rafael. Pagkatapos nito ay binisita ang isa sa mga proyekto sa nasabing bayan.

Kasama ni House Speaker Romualdez na dumalo sa nasabing presentasyon ang chairman ng Committee on Appropriations Rep. Elizaldy Co, Deputy Majority Leader for Communications Rep. Erwin Tulfo, at ACT-CIS Party List Rep. Rep. Edvic Yap.

Sinalubong naman ang sila nina Bulacan 3rd District Rep. Lorna Silverio, Bulacan Vice Gov. Alex Castro, San Rafael Mayor Mark Cholo Violago, mga kinatawan ng Irrigators Associations ng Angat-Maasim RIS, RCIA Vice President Nazario Vinuya, at ni Josephine Salazar, NIA Central Luzon director.

Sinabi sa ARKIPELAGO NEWS BULACAN ni Liza Sacdalan, tagapangulo ng Central Luzon Organic Rice Producers Association at chairman ng Plaridel-Guiguinto Irrigators Association sa Bulacan,na ang presentasyon ng NIA ay tungkol sa mga solar pump irrigation projects ng Angat-Bustos (ANBUSPA) Irrigators Association (IA); Bustos-Pandi (BUSPAN) IA at Kapatiran IA.

Sa presentasyon ni Salazar, umabot sa halagang P98,600,000 ang kabuuang project allocation fund ng tatlong proyekto.

Ang ANBUSPA project na matatagpuan sa Barangay Tibagan sa bayan ng Bustos ay may project allocation fund na P50,600,000 at may kapasidad na 500 kwp at may kakayahang magpatubig sa 1,200 hektarya ng lupang sakahan.

Ang BUSPAN project naman ay matatagpuan sa Barangay Malamig sa bayan ng Bustos na may kabuuang pondo na P20,000,000 na may kapasidad na 150 kwp at kayang magpatubig sa 350 hektarya ng lupang sakahan at ang Kapatiran IA na matatagpuan sa Barangay Sampalok sa bayan ng San Rafael na pinondohan ng P28,000,000 at may kapasidad na 60 kwp at kayang magbigay ng tubig irigasyon sa 150 hektarya ng bukirin.

Ayon kay Salazar, ang mga proyektong ito ay may solar at electric dual power supply.
