Nueva Ecija police arrest two goat thieves on Friday the 13th

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Two individuals were arrested for stealing goats on the night of Friday the 13th in this city.

According to reports received by Col. Ferdinand Getmino, officer in charge of the Nueva Ecija Police, the suspects were apprehended by members of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) of Barangay Cinco-Cinco around 8:00 p.m. They were caught attempting to flee from a rice field in Barangay Daan Sarile, Cabanatuan City, with two stolen goats valued at PHP 50,000, owned by Jay Sebastian.

The BPAT members handed over the suspects to the local police, who are now pursuing appropriate charges for the theft.
