CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — An estimated P1,781,600 worth of suspected shabu was seized and two drug suspects were arrested in Bulacan on Friday (November 17).

Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said a drug sting was conducted in Barangay San Juan, Balagtas town around 9:30 pm that led to the confiscations of approximately 262 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,781,600, drug paraphernalia and marked money that also led to the arrest ofalias JC and alias Jr.

Meanwhile, five other drug suspects were arrested by the station drug enforcement units of the San Ildefonso, Sta. Maria, and Bustos Police Stations in separate anti-drug operations.

The drugs stings resulted in the total seizures of 19 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of P19,560, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.

The confiscated items were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination while the suspects are now facing charges for violations of R.A. 9165.
