P300K worth of dried marijuana leaves confiscated in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A drug suspect was arrested on January 4 in a sting operation in the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, with approximately P300,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves.

A report submitted to Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Regional Police Director of Central Luzon, identified the suspect as alias “Vic,” a resident of the same city.

Initial investigations revealed that police operatives conducted a drug sting around 12:30 a.m. at Block 10, Lot 19, Regent Heights, Barangay Poblacion, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

Seized from the suspect were approximately 2,500 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves valued at P300,000, a silver-colored digital weighing scale, and nine pieces of rolled transparent self-locking plastic bags.

The suspect, along with the confiscated items, was brought to the city’s satellite forensic office for drug testing and laboratory examination.
