Pamimigay ng Timba-Timbang Biyaya bilang pag-alala kay Mayor Joni Villanueva

Makikita ngayon sa mga kalsada at pasilyo sa bayan ng Bocaue ang mahahabang linya ng mga nakahilerang timba. Para sa mga Bocaueño, ito ang simbolo ng pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa kanila ng yumaong si Mayor Joni Villanueva.

Mga timbang naglalaman ng relief goods ang ipinamigay noon ni Mayor Joni Villanueva sa mga Bocaueño sa unang buwan ng pandemya. Tinawag itong ‘Timba-timbang Biyaya’ dahil sa nag-uumapaw na laman ng bawat timba.

Bilang paggunita sa unang anibersaryo ng kanyang paglisan, muling namigay ng Timba Timbang Biyaya sa mga residente ng Bocaue ang pamilya ni Mayor Joni.

Inorganisa ito ng kanyang mga kapatid na sina Senator Joel Villanueva at Mayor Jonjon Villanueva, kasama ang asawa niyang si Congressman Sherwin Tugna.

Katulad ng mga timba noon ni Mayor Joni, naglalaman din ng iba’t ibang pagkain ang mga timba katulad ng noodles, bigas at mga de lata.

Tumulong naman sa pamamahagi ng Timba Timbang Biyaya ang kasalukuyang Vice Mayor ng Bocaue na si Alvin Cotaco.

“Hindi po natatapos ang pagmamalasakit ng ating mahal na Mayor Joni Villanueva dahil sa pag-gunita ng ika-1 anibersayo ng kanyang pagkawala, simula May 26-28 patuloy pa rin ang pamimigay ng nakilalang timba timbang biyaya sa bawat barangay. Nakiisa po ang inyong lingkod at sina Konsehal Mira Bautista, Konsehal Jerome Reyes, Konsehal Takong Del Rosario, Konsehal Aries Nieto, Konsehal Coro Juan, Konsehal Jeng Jose, ABC President Ruben Delos Santos at SK Federation President Jam Mendoza sa pamamahagi.”

“Nakakatuwa lamang po isipin na hanggang sa mga oras na ito patuloy pa din sa atin pinaparamdam ang kanyang pagmamahal sa Dakilang Bayan ng Bocaue,” ayon sa Facebook post ni Vice Mayor Alvin.

Kasama rin sa namigay ng mga timba ng pagkain si Councilor Jam Mendoza, pangulo ng Sangguniang Kabataan Federation sa Bocaue. Nakapanayam siya ng Arkipelago News. Ayon kay Councilor Jam, sinuportahan at binigyang halaga raw ni Mayor Joni ang mga kabataan.

“Isa sa mga hinding-hindi ko malilimutan na aral mula kay Mayor Joni ay ang pagseserbisyo ng walang hinihinging kapalit. Na pasalamatan man o hindi, ang mahalaga ay alam namin nagseserbisyo at naglilingkod kami ng buong pusong tapat at totoo. Isa pa pong aral na hilig kong naririnig sa ating Mayor Joni ay ang linyang “Bocauenos deserve nothing but the best” sapagkat naipamalas niya sa salita at sa gawa, na hindi pwede ang pwede na, na kailangan bilang lider may matayog na pangarap at plano at kailangan ng mahusay at delikadad na pamahalaan para sa mga Bocaueño,” pahayag ni Councilor Jam.

Bukod sa ipinamimigay na timba na naglalaman ng pagkain, muli ring inilabas ng mga Bocaueño ang mga timbang pinaglagyan noon ng ayuda mula sa minamahal nilang punong bayan.

Makikitang nakasulat sa mga timba at mga Facebook post ang mga mensahe ng pagmamahal at pasasalamat sa kanilang yumaong Mayor.

“From your hometown Bunlo, Mahal ka namin Mayor Joni,” ayon sa post ni Mhack Lance.

Sa loob ng tatlong araw o mula May 26 hanggang May 28, ang araw ng kanyang pagyao, plano ng mga Bocaueñong gunitain ang kanyang alaala sa pamamagitan ng pagdarasal, pagtitirik ng kandila at paglalabas ng mga timba. Sumali sa mga aktibidad ang lahat ng barangay sa Bocaue.

“Ang buong Barangay po ng Biñang 2nd ay buong pusong nagpapasalamat kay Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna, Congressman Sherwin Tugna at sa buong pamilya po ng Villanueva sa inyong pong ibinigay na mga timba-timbang groceries sa aming Barangay bilang pag alala at pag gunita sa isang taong anibersaryo ng kamatayan ng ating butihing Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna,” ayon sa post ni Barangay Chairman Yboyh Del Rosario Jr.

Ang inilabas na mensahe sa Facebook page ni Mayor Joni Villanueva ang maituturing na sumasalamin sa nararamdaman ng mga taga- Bocaue ngayon:

“Mahirap pantayan ang ibinigay mong pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa mga Bocaueño, Mayor Joni.”

“Gayunpaman, inaalala namin ng may buong pagmamahal ang mga sandaling tunay na naging proud kami bilang Bocaueño at ikaw ang aming Punong Bayan! Salamat sa alaala ng #TimbaTimbangBiyaya. Salamat dahil hanggang ngayon, sa iyong pangalan ay may ganito pa ring simbolo ng iyong paglilingkod at pagmamahal,” ayon sa Facebook post.
