PDEA takes down makeshift drug den in Bulacan

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested four drug suspects and confiscated over P100,000 worth of shabu in a raid on a makeshift drug den in this city on Tuesday, December 10.

The Central Luzon PDEA office reported that the anti-illegal drugs operation was conducted in Barangay Minuyan Proper, leading to the arrest of a 51-year-old man alleged to be the drug den operator.

The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, assorted sniffing paraphernalia, and marked money.

The confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the PDEA Central Luzon office laboratory for forensic examination, while the arrested suspects now face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
