Philippines-Australia Kasangga’ Exercise held in Bulacan
My Lazaro September 6, 2023 at 08:12 AMCITY OF MALOLOS –The Philippines-Australia Kasangga’ Exercise, a joint military training between the First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) and the 1st Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) began this past Monday at Camp Simon Tecson in the town of San Miguel, Bulacan.
Participants in the said exercise will focus on skills in Urban Combat, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Breaching Techniques, Urban Sniping and Counter-Sniping, Combat Tracking and the Joint Logistic Planning Subject.
According to Col. Isagani Criste, FSSR regiment commander, this will further strengthen defense cooperation and raise the level of interoperability between the Philippines and Australia.
Maj. Jacob Richard Malouf, commanding officer of Bravo Company of 1st RAR, said the Kasangga Exercise is testament to the deep diplomatic relations between the two countries.
