PNP DEG confiscates P3.4M worth of shabu in Cavite

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — A high-value drug suspect was arrested in this city on Saturday night (January 18), with P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu confiscated.

Col. Rolando Cuya, OIC of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group, said a drug sting was conducted in Sitio Tanuan, Barangay Cabuco, Trece Martires City, around 10:58 p.m.

The anti-illegal drugs operation led to the arrest of a suspect, alias “Emersan,” and the confiscation of approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P3,400,000, along with other non-drug evidence.

The arrested suspect was brought to the PNP DEG SOU 4A Office for documentation and proper disposition, while the confiscated suspected illegal drugs were turned over to the Regional Forensic Unit 4A for laboratory examination.
