Police confiscated almost P100K of illegal drugs in Bulacan
Mon Lazaro January 18, 2024 at 10:19 AMCAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police implemented a series of intensified police operations in the last two days which led to the confiscation of almost P100,000 worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of eight drug suspects.
Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the anti-drug operatives of Malolos City Police Station have arrested an alias Ching and three others in a drug sting in Barangay Longos in the said city on Wednesday night.
The police operations led to the confiscation of four plastic sachets of suspected shabu that has a street value of approximately P81,600 and the marked money.
Meanwhile, four other drug suspects were apprehended in separate drug-bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Guiguinto and Angat Police Stations.
The drug stings led to the seizure of 11 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of approximately P15,000 and marked money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination and criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects were prepared for filing in court.
